Created in celebration of the 2019 NBA Champions Toronto Raptors, this piece channels Taxali’s love of his home city through his pop surrealist visual vocabulary. Taxali has lived and worked in Toronto since graduating from the Ontario College of Art in 1991. His work has been commissioned by the Whitney Museum of American Art. Among the artist t-shirts in the collection, this tank top brings courtside energy to gallery art. Originally created to celebrate the 2019 NBA Champions.
